Unprofessional on so many levels.
- No financial accounting is provided. How are payors to ascertain whether this billing is legitimate; let alone correct? Why wasn’t a detailed billing summary (June 2018 through the current date) included with each account in addition to the March 2019 Billing and enclosed letter?
- Unexplained “MT STATE DEQ” $2.00 Charge.
- Letter is dated 2.28.2019.Billed Date was March 7, 2019, however was not mailed until March 11, 2019, and generally received on March 13, 2019.
- tfa verified several times that that noone was available at Fromberg Town Hall today to discuss this matter.
- Letter syntax is vague and nebulous. Was the Town Attorney consulted on the “language” used in this letter?
- tfa understands tenant(s) aren’t allowed to receive TOF Utility Billings, but that said monthly billings are sent to landlords and it then becomes the landlord’s responsibility to forward said monthly billings to their tenent(s).
- Extremely inefficient use of administrative time to hand address labels for any mailing, let alone bulk mailing.
- Letter copy is misaligned.

No proof. just another ridukulous bill from the city. The “current budget” my butt…really. miller and her clan sure has hell spend enuf money on crappola. When the HELL should we visit town hall? Midnight? Clerks been gone most of the past three days and where’missy mayor pants to fill in? This is absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional, and unethical at the very least! It’s blatantly obvious our clerk has never had any experience in billing as and far as that goes, her office housekeeping is lacking as well… I expect more when I walk into City Hall. I also expect a better product coming in out of City Hall. If MDU sent out billing statements like this, The Public Service Commission of the State of Montana would be crawling down their throats! What’s this two dollar charge for DEQ??? Seems to be a monthly fixture on the bill from here on out. No explanation as to why we received this charge! Per Mayor’s suggestion I checked the “new” old page as well. Nope. Nothing on there about this entire billing inept situation. Broken from the beginning. Mayor Miller you have proved your point AGAIN! You are only capable of producing garbage results…Republic Services (Garbage Collection Contract) would be hard put to keep up with the wreckage and debris you leave in your wake.
I keep waking up in a cold sweat thinking and in hopes the nightmare is over only to find it has gotten worse and that it is not a dream but real!!! I feel very badly for the good folks that have worked so hard to improve the town only to be bad mouthed and put down at city hall. The anderson miller ticket has all but destroyed this town. No, it has destroyed it. In a crooked town it was or is only fitting to have crooked mayors, attys, cops, judges, neighbors, streets, property lines…… has anyone noticed the unprecedented new businesses on main street, the new grocery store, gas station, hardware store, ice cream shop, 3 new antique shops, the deli cafe, the big money investors who want in on the fromberg boom? I was shocked to see all the people dancing in the streets for joy of the towns new lease on life!!!!!
Eight months after the fact, we receive a June 2018 water bill combined with our March bill? This is apparently a little too complicated for our new clerk and empty headed imbecile of a Mayor to figure out. Incompetence is overreaching at City Hall…. Let’s see, the moronic imbecile thougthtshe might save a little postage? Millers actions! Save the town a nickel all the while actually costing them thousands of dollars…
Absolutely the most unprofessional actions I’ve witnessed from a local government office! Send residents a bill that is combined with no separation of charges. Then we have to try to get to City Hall only to find it closed. How convenient! Not! It’s been like that most of the week! We, the bill payors WORK for a living and can’t be continually going to City Hall to see if they’re open! Posted government hours mean POSTED GOVERNMENT HOURS! Why can’t Mayor Miller sit in? It’s probably a good thing it was closed, as my friend told me she had to wait to try to get her bill straightened out while the clerk was discussing her medical issues with another party. Unprofessional! I’m short on time, and after all this, short on patience with the poor job skills of the new clerk! She severely lacks a good customer service skill set! Alotta talk but little actual knowledge. I’m so over City Hall STUPIDITY! To think I have to go back next week. Ugh
Didnt missy mayor pants state during her campaign she’d be at Town hall like 2 afternoons a week to be available to towns people? Millers been conspicuously absent around town hall and generally just around town. What. Worried about bei g questioned? About the McKenzie lawsuit that is YOUR fajlt. I have to agree with everyone that has left comments. Miller has very poor communication skills and tends to lie as much as Trump. For two years she has been telling me that she would help get the sewer situation fixed. It has never happened yet and so here I am pooping in a bucket until the sewer line gets thawed out for a third time since February 2019 this year. As far as the water bill, it will need to be itemized into a spreadsheet for entre year of 2018 before I pay anything. I have all my checks from every single month in 2018 so where are you coming up with this extra bill? You just decide to pull it out of your as* in hopes we we’re all stupid enough to pay it! What a mess this town has become!! What a disgrace!!
This is all inexcusable! From the incorrect, ineffective billing, to the fact you either have to call or stop by City Hall to request a computer generated statement of your last year of transactions. This should have been sent with the bill! The fact is,the bills should have been checked for accuracy PRIOR to being sent out! For the purpose of AVOIDING over-looked accounting errors and over-billing! Neither was done! The assumption was everyone owes!?!! Key word: “ASSUME” makes an a** out of you! Your sloppy clerical work has created justified anger and distrust of city hall! YOUR repeated actions like these are the ones that fan the flames! Put the blame where it lies: City Hall.
