Mayor Miller, Fromberg council members and clerical staff are negligent in their duties. The public obviously has a right to be informed regarding how the Corona Virus situation is being handled in their own town! Given your wanton disregard for the citizens of Fromberg, you should all submit your letters of resignation.
——With so many places closed, now is an perfect opportunity to take time to reflect. Mayor Miller should be the first do so! Look back Mayor Miller at all those promises you made during your election run for mayor. Here are only four of the many promises you made. With your many non-stop talking points, you may have forgotten, but we the populace have not!
#1. You were personally going to inventory the town shop. You never did and look at the lost $$$$$!
#2. The new curb stops you and Nottingham both voted for under previous Mayor Anderson’s term? Gee Whiz! They’re still not in!can you believe that you forgot???
#3. How about when you said “I will see to it that Mike Ventling does his work…the street needs to be kept clean.” How about the 2 dudes from Oregon you hired after Mike? You know the ones, who got the sign on bonuses and then split? All because you never stipulated that they must complete a probationary perood prior to receiving the entire bonus? That cost us a lot of money!
#4. “That trailer by the old yellow bank will be moved” Mayor Miller said. Once again, all talk and no action. Probably due to too much talk. The McKenzie deal and so on! And so many other ordinances you and your council have broken! How can you enforce ordiances on the public when you as a town council continually break them? But you do like to babble about a new office space. Possibly so MORE papers can be strung from hell to breakfast! The clerk can’t find most of what’s requested by townsfolk even with it being piled high in front our noses at town hall! While you sit by and let a councilman belittle a newcomer to our town about not parking his truck during the winter on that street by the tennis court. While that councilman himself uses an entire street 2 blocks away for his fun and convenience? How could you just sit there and allow him to be so arrogant and disrespectful? But I think I know why you did. It seems you also take great joy in belittling people every chance you get at a meeting and anywhere else you can get away with it! It must it must be nice to have “paid by the taxpayers” lawyers for your total ignorance and to cover for your complete inability to shut your mouth! I guess that gives you a free ticket to babble on while the council follows like a herd of sheep! Where have you been for our town during this whole virus crisis thing? You know, like the newest restrictions Carbon County set in place? Again, you rely on somebody else to do it while you sit on your limp butt. You have nothing to be proud of! Shape up! Do your job! But you haven’t the slightest idea or intelligence to do so! It’s all just talk! Just like when the town was short of help. I didn’t see Mayor Miller out running any of that heavy equipment that she said she knew how to run! Just more lip flapping. Resign! You’ve broken us. Financially but even worse? Morally!!!
To break a population morally is a very big thing! England and the king did it to so many but paid a price. (BRAVE HEART) WOULD BE A GOOD EXAMPLE. AS ONE CONCERNED CITIZEN TO ANOTHER ….me thinks you have hit thy nail on the head!! Mr. Stapleton is one of the most condesending arrogent public servents i have ever seen aside from mayor miller. I have had state represenatives, state troopers, guardian adlitum for children and many other professionals in my home to discuss issues and NEVER did any of them act as arrogent as Sapelton and the mayor. They were all more concerned with listening, identifieing the problem and taking a course of action. I guess fromberg is a special kind of place. City hall does not seem wonder why people don’t come to meeting or seem to care. If I were in their shoes it would bother me greatly. If they could only learn to truly listen it may build moral and possibly help unite the people and town. I agree they should move on and let someone who cares about the people in.
To constitutionalist, concerned citizen, scott advocate. Seems like you all have good take on city hall. For such a tiny dead town a little power goes a long way. I am posting in response to constitutionalist on Covid 19. I am in Seattle and sheltered in place for the last 4 weeks. This shit is air born and it is coming your way. Nothing on the town web site! The only local available information is here on this site and focus on fromberg Facebook page. What is coming out of city hall on this???? Be aware! This thing may come back in the fall and winter, even if it subsides soon, which will be slow to happen. Wish everyone well! Be careful and be prepared. I’m sure city hall has an emergency fund and contingency plan and is going to forgive water/sewer bills till this is over. Sadly it is going to get a lot worse.
