What a laugh! Listen to the first part of this lecture on the zoning committee and what they are, and are not to do. Practice what you preach and be knowledgeable or you wind up making a fool of yourself. Mrs Miller talks about measuring property and making sure they are within their set backs. Later in the meeting, for the first time, she mentions the size of the building being placed on this lot is 40×40! Yet she seems oblivious to the fact it’s a 50 foot wide lot. So, with 15 foot set backs it should have been a NO GO. It was the job of the Zoning Committee to say “Nope, it doesn’t fit”!!! Why didn’t that happen? Instead Mayor Miller sold it to the council that its all good. Do you speak and really not have any flipping idea of what you just said?
Really, this is so unbelievably ridiculous, I’m not quite sure where to begin. Shirley Miller first gives the appearance of a very intelligent mayor. Although three sentences in, you’re like please shut up or your going to look stupid and then she confirms it. How is anyone on the Council ever going to trust another word she speaks because I can’t. Her attempt to intimidate the new appointee to the zoning committee by acting as if she was unknowledgeable and an idiot, really wound up backfiring! Making yourself look important is never a good idea especially in the public eye. A true leader makes those he serves important!!
Is this to be expected at every meeting now? The lecture I mean. Randy Wike had his butt chewed out and was given an excuse that the mayor did not call him as he did not put his phone number on the application. Yet Mr Mackenzie gets a zoning permit? He’s not even the owner of record and did not even finish filling out his application. Man that’s terrible leap! Like a judge would swallow that BS! This just keeps getting bigger and better!!! Kinda like the old show “Dallas”!
I’m like you John! Certainly don’t need a lecture at my age. Especially when I have my facts down and can PROVE them. If only Town Hall would stop their talking and excuse making long enough for me to MAKE them.
Would it be too much to ask for someone to serve us that has intelligence, forethought, moral integrity, and a deep commitment for the greater good??? Apparently so. We keep getting the same ole same when it comes to this office. Be a Mayor be a crook. At least it took Anderson longer! Miller you’re making Trump look like a saint!
Mrs Miller if you’re not smart enough to be familiar with the definitions in the zoning code book, then apparently your not smart enough to understand our zoning codes either. FIY “just a little place for him to tinker on his toys” I don’t think so! That would have been a garage. I’m not buying this. I’m sure this is not the end!!!
